A documentary about the making of Jay-Z’s ‘Reasonable Doubt’ has been released on Tidal. The film, titled RD:20, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the rapper’s classic debut album. Released in 1996, ‘Reasonable Doubt’ marked Jay Z’s ascendency in New York hip hop, over the next few years he would come to dominate the scene with a series of hit records. The album also featured some of biggest names in hip hop including Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, and Memphis Bleek. It was also the first to be released on Jay Z's Roc-A-Fella label. It features interviews with DJ Premier, Memphis Bleek, and never-before-heard stories about the album. Earlier this week, Roc-A-Fella co-founder Kareem "Biggs" Burke, launched a pop-up store in Los Angeles selling merchandise themed around ‘Reasonable Doubt’. "The pop-up shop is something that I thought was really cool because it's at APT. 4B, which was Jay's old apartment, having that old New York City style and feel and introducing the 20th anniversary, which will turn into a Reasonable Doubt line afterwards," he told Billboard. Since the release of Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’ there have been rumours that the popstar is working on a joint album with husband Jay Z. According to the New York Post, the couple have finished a joint LP that addresses questions of martial infidelity raised by Beyoncé’s latest record.
